So we had a great time with Mom's side of the family yesterady for Easter. We got to see our Grandma from Vegas, our Granny O, great Aunts and Uncles and also our second cousins that we only see once a year. It was a really nice day. I however didn't get too many pictures because I lost the charger to the camera and only just found it this morning. Of course the Easter Bunny had been to our house and Kimo had already found all the eggs by the time I found the charger. Oh well!! I hope you enjoy seeing what I have.

New Projects!!!
Well there isn't much to report on this home front. The kids are growing like crazy and nothing too exciting has happened. We did cut Kimo's hair the other night and he cried the whole time. Then the stupid trimmers stoped working so he has a patch on long hair still on his head. When I find the camera charger I will try to get a picture of it before we fix it tonight. We told him we had to fix it, but he told us he wanted crazy hair. LOL! Nani is a mover and is awlays on the go and getting into everything. She has her two bottom teeth and you should be able to see them now when we take pictures of her. Again when the camera is charged I will take more pictures. Till then you will have to enjoy the little projects that I have been working on...

Update on Kimo (from 3/10/08)
So it has been a long weekend. We were home for about 8 hours on Sat and we had to take him back to the ER. All of his symptoms came back and he was screaming again that he couldn't walk and his ankles were getting swollen again. We had given him his meds, but he couldn't keep them down. Daddy got him to keep down about 2ml of the stuff. So we ended up back at the ER at 9pm. They took us into the ER after us waiting for 15mins in the waiting area. We didn't even do all the admitting stuff when they took us to the bak. So we were in there little area and then about an hour later they got him a bed. They told us they weren't sure if they were going to do blood again, but then about 30mins later they came over and said they had to, and they had to put in another IV. Hubby and I were both so nervous about all this because it wasn't even 24 hours that they had taken the other IV out. So hubby took Nani for a walk while they drew the blood and put in the IV. Luckly this nurse was smart and chose to use the IV to get 4 viles blood so Kimo didn't have to get poked twice. The nurse then came back about 15mins later and took 2 more viles and told us these viles don't don't normally have in the ER and it was a different test the Dr wanted to run. So finally Nani and Kimo fell asleep about 1am and then at 2am Nani and I went home, while of course was the time change so we were home a little after 3am and Kimo didn't get his room till 3:30am. We spent all day Sun in the hospital, and the Dr kept us over night Sun night to make sure we didn't have another repeat trip on Sun night. The Dr said it seems like Kimo was having the flaire ups at night so he wanted to watch him longer. We were released today Mon at 1pm. It is so nice to be home, but now we have the chalange for getting Kimo to take the meds so we don't have to go back. We were told it could take up to 10 days before all the Augmentin is out of his system. So it's a wait and see to make sure he is all the way out of the woods. Oh the fun part is that with the bendryl he doesn't get sleepy, he hyper for hours and then crashes hard!! Nani is good, and just trying to play with brother and all his new toys!!!
My funny boy!
So I let Kimo watch Mulan II and it was his first time watching it. All of a sudden I heard him start crying. So I ran out to see what was wrong. He said Chang (Mulan's man) died. He was so upset about this and had real tears. I told him lets keep watching and see if he come's back. He said "No, he's dead and he's never coming back". Then the next sceen later you see Chang and Kimo was all happy again. It was so cute because he has never gotten that into a movie. When it was all over he said he wanted to watch it again. I said OK! So he watched it again and at the same part (like he didn't remember what he just saw) he was crying again that Chang died. It was so cute and funny at the same time!

Our day yesterday.....
So the day started out with the normal. Kids coughing and this has been going on for about a week. Then Kimo woke-up came out to the living room and I saw that he had a rash around his neck. No worries yet. I called the Dr to see if we could get him in but they were booked. So hubby sent me to the store to get grocries and such. I come home about a hour later to find out that now Kimo has this rash all over his body. To top it off were ever his clothing was touching him (like underwear and socks) it was almost as if he was blistering. So here I am trying to figure out what to do. I drew him a shower and he sat in there and played for about 30mins. We called the Dr and the nurses said she would call us back. See I was thinking that he has Scarlet Fever again and wanted to know what else to do. Well it had been over an hour and a half and still no call from the Dr. So I called her again. I got to speak with her and she told me to take him to urgent care, because she didn't have a space to see him. So off we went at 2pm(when urgent care opened) to see a Dr at Urgent Care. While we were waiting Kino was up and down and wouldn't sit still. He was telling hubby and I that his legs hurt. We got in the room some where between 2:30-3pm. The nurse had us strip both kids down (Nani had a cough so we wanted to get her checked out since we were there), we looked at Kimo and his rash was bright red and his ankles and knees were all swollen. It looked so bad, hubby took some pictures on his phone. So the Dr told us that Nani has Strep Throat (which we later foundout she's too young to have) and the Dr gave us a precription for her. Then he looked Kimo over and didn't know that was going on with him. See Kimo was complaining of his ears hurting Feb 26th and we took him to our Dr's and found out he had another ear infection. She put him on Augmentin, 400milligrams twice a day for ten days. He was almost done taking it all had one dose left to take. So the Dr at Urgent Care told us to take Kimo right away to the ER. When we were leaving hubby was carring Kimo out and the Dr wantd to see if Kimo would walk, he took a couple of steps and then sat down and said he hurt. We got to the ER around 4pm, and Kimo was taken back there around 5pm. The whole time we were waiting boht kids were sleeping in our arms. I couldn't go back there with him because I had Nani with me so I had to wait it out in the waiting room till Derek could come talk to me. Derek came out about 6pm and said he was taking Nani to our friends house so we could both be with Kimo. (Granted I didn't have much for her since this was just suppose to be a short trip to Urgent Care, no bottles of breast milk, no pj's or anything warm to wear) So when I got back to were Kimo was they had already taken blood and urine. Then about 10mins later they did the IV, his was only the hand part and he wasn't put on the drip. They then gave him steroids and benadryl through the IV and he screamed the whole time. He kept telling me to take it out and that is was going deeper in his arm. It was so hard to sit there and watch him go through all this. Everytime he moved he would scream out and cry that he was in pain. He only wanted to hold mommy and daddy's hands. I did get to hol dhim for awhile and he fell asleep. Any time he woke-up he would be crying to get the IV out of his arm. He finally got sleep and slept for hours. We were told that they wanted to admit Kimo over night. So they finaly got him a room and we were up there at 11pm. I then went home to Nani since she needed mommy and hubby stayed with Kimo. So we were released this afternoon a little after 12pm. They said that he had an allergic reaction to the Augmentin, and because his body was already fighting off the medicine and the infection he got a case of viral arthritis. That's why all his joints were swollen. So now we aren't allowed to give him any type of penicillin. Like I said I only had about one more dose left to give Kimo of the Augmentin, but the Dr at the hospital said it could take that long for you to get a reaction to the meds. I am so glad we found this out and didn't just stay home. I couldn't imangine going through all this without the help of the meds the Dr's gave him. We are home now and Kimo is on some type of steroid for 5 days. Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up on what happened to us yesterday. BTW: Nani is fine and we didn't give her anything except Tynole.
Here are pictures I took before I gave him the shower. I will have to get the others from hubby so you can all see how bad it got when we were in Urgent Care.
