For TJ, Linda and Gordon

Kimo's count down to our trip to Zion, IL to go and visit Uncle TJ, Auntie Linda and cousin Gordon. He is so excited and makes sure we cut off a link every day. I guess when we get home from visiting Nana and Papa we will have to cut off a bunch!!

Big Tree Park

We went to the big tree park in Glendora just before we took the kids to the Dr's. This tree has been here since 1880 and is from Australia. Luckliy I had my camera on me!!

Well I was told that I haven't blogged in such a long time. Ok so here it goes......

I was gonna blog about our big dilemma about our truck, but then I kept getting interrupted by the hubby and the kids. We had to get the truck fixed and it turned out that it was going to cost us half of what the truck was worth. So instead we opted to get a car instead. We put $2000 down on the car and then we had to pay $700+ to get the truck out of the shop to trade it in. Lots of trouble there and it would take too long to write it all out now.

Well Nani is now 9months old. She grows up way too fast. She's great at crawling and follows after me every where I go. She likes to play with anything that brother is playing with. She has learned to wave and now she will wave at everyone and everything. It is so cute!!! She likes to babble a lot and sing too. The only word she says is mama.

Kimo has yet another ear infection. HE told us the other day that his ear wasn't letting him talk and yet again we take him to the Dr's to find out here we go again. Luckily this time around his meds aren't too bad tasting and he will actually take them. I do have to fight him and little to get the first sip and then he says ..... yummmm and he will take the rest. I don't know what is causing his ear infections and so the Dr told us that when his ear infection is clear then we are to put ear drops in his ears ever night to loosen up his ear wax. I hope this helps out and so we don't have to go through another ear infection next month.

Right now I am up at my parents house and taking car of my mom. She just got out of surgery for a hernia. She is doing really good, but in paid and just stays in bed. It is nice to get away from my house for a little while though and not have to think of everything there that I have to get done.

Well I suppose this is it for now until I have more to tell!!

Kimo boy..........

See his wings!!!

1 ........ 2........... 3........... gooooooooo.........

Now my little man is growing up way too fast. For the first time he has gone with his Papa all by himself. It makes me happy to see this, but sad too. He is just growing up way too fast for me! He loves to climb and jump off things, and jump back and forth from thing to thing. It scares me sometimes, but most of the time I know he just has too much energy to keep cooped up. Just yesterday he grabed one of our hangers and put it around his waist and said it was his wings (being buzz lightyear), and was jumping off my bed to the floor. It was so cute!!! He talks like he's older then what he is and loves to supprise mommy and daddy with what he says. He has picked up a few words from daddy and we aren't suppose to say, but the funny thing about it is that he uses the words in the right meaning.

Let's try it again........ NANI

Under mommy's chair while she's on the computer!!!

So I just wrote this long blog about my little angel and it all dissapeared. What do I do now, but try to remember what I wrote. YEAH RIGHT!!!

I was saying.......

My little Nani is on the move and there is no stopping her now. She has finally figured out how to crawl and is rather good at it. We have a walker and an exersaucer for her and she would rather be free. I guess we really need to get down on hands an knees to baby prouf this house. LOL!! It was easy having the house with a toddler, but now harder with the infant crawler. Brother is a great help with her though. When he sees her with something she's not suppose to have he will go and take it from her. He loves his little sister!!! Sister gets mad at him, but she will learn that it was right for him to do. Hehehe!! So back to her..... she's on the move and loves to go everywhere on her own. She does get mad that she can't quite keep up with everyone, but she'd rather do it all on her own. She is becoming quite independant , and goes and does what she wants to do. I was so excited to see her crawl, but deep down I am sad. She is my baby and the kast little one I will ever have!!! I want her to grow up slowly and let mommy enjoy what little time I have with her as a baby. One thing I enjoy is our cuddle time when I get to put her to bed and we snuggle and nurse to get to sleep. Then she goes into her crib and sometime in the wee morning she will make her way into our bed. The only thing is that these past few days I have felt like she was draining me of milk because all she wanted to do was be attached to sleep. I had to finally put her binky in her mouth after several times of latching on and off and keeping mommy awake. We even get to swaddle her to get her to sleep better. Well I guess this is all for now and will keep updating as time goes on.

The kids!

Us today infront of the computer!

Nani and her new baby!!!

Kimo's booboo he got the other day after falling in the laundry hamper!

So it's just the start of the day today and I am not in a good mood. Nani was up nursing all morning and didn't want to sleep. I finally had to take her and swaddle her to get her to go back to sleep. Then of course Kimo had to wake-up bright and early so mommy couldn't get any sleep. I have such a short temper right now I think I am going to go crazy. To top it off our landloard is home today, and I really just wanted the place to myself with the kids so if I had to yell at them I wouldn't bother anyone. Oh well!! I have laundry to finish and dishes with my name on them. I really wish we had a dish washer.

Yesterday was an uneventful day. Kimo wanted to take a bath so he poured bath salts in the tub, got himself naked and was ready to go by the time I cought up with him. Nani was being needy all day long, not sure if it is her teething seeing she doesn't have any teeth yet, or she just wanted a mommy day. Derek got home from work and a friend of his came over. They went to a paint ball store and he was telling me that he bought a paintball gun for $800. Good thing he was just messing with me because I wasn't gonna stand for that. Our deal was he had to sell off the paintball guns he had first in order to get another one. So while Derek was out we went shopping for dinner. Kimo saw some toys at the store and wanted them. Of course mommy said "NO" and so because he was angry he bit me on the elbow. Nani was a happy shopper till we were in the checkout line when I discovered she had a poopy butt. So we got all the food and drove home, and on the way home Nani fell asleep. We made it home, and I told Derek what Kimo had done and he said straight to bed, but Kimo got to stay up because I had already punished him for biteing me. I made dinner which was rather easy seeing it was Tacos. Then we had a kitchen to clean that had dirty dishes from previous days. The whole time Nani was screeming in Daddy's arms. I fed her, got to eat a warm dinner, and then got to have a nursing session. After that I got yelled at by hubby for the kids room/computer room being a mess because he couldn't find his item he sold on e-bay. Then I made these chocolate cocoa cupcakes that turned out good. Kimo didn't want to go to bed till late(midnight) and then got up early this morning.

p.s . Ignore all the miss spells because if you know me I can't spell anyways!!! :)
