3 1/2 year olds.......

So while I (normally I have two kids in the restroom with me) was in the restroom I heard "How pretty". Then I heard Kimop asking.... "Mom, can I show you something?". I told him alright come in and show me. This is what I saw.........

I guess this is what happens when your 3 1/2 year old finds nail polish and knows where it goes. I guess I should be greatful that it didn't end up anywhere else except for here.........

Bar of soap.....

Boy I think I need to start washing his mouth out with soap every time I hear these bad words. We are suppose to meet up with Derek tomorrow morning and go for some chicken and waffles(yeah you heard me right they are go good together), and we are eating with all Derek's coworkers. All these people have been over to the house and Kimo knows them all by name and he says that one of the girls is his "True Love". It's too cute, but in the same sentince he says that one of the guys is a "Big Ass" because he is mean to Kimo's true love. I was so shocked to hear him say this. I guess this is what we get when all of Derek's freinds(co-workers) have potty mouths. I just can't wait to tell Derek when I talk to him in a few mins.

A day at the Beach......

I didn't get too many pictures, but what I do have is cute!!! We went to Bolsa Chica Beach a few weekends ago and the kids loved it!!
Here are a few pictures!!!

Kimo trying to build a sand castle.

Father-in-law(PaPa), Mother-in-law(Nana) and Nani

Kimo and Uncle Justin in the water.

Nani playing in the sand!

Hubby in the big hole. It was there when we got there but hubby and brother made it bigger and deeper.

Daddy and Nani in the water.... she loved it after awhile.

Hubby in the water on the boogie board!!!

Kids say the darndest things.....

I so need to write down everthing that Kimo says. He is just oo darn cute sometimes (yeah, sometimes not so much). One day I heard his saying "SH*T" and I was like what are you saying and he kept repeating it. Then I asked him whom he heard it from..... "Daddy's Papa!" I started laughing!!! I told my hubby this and then went on to tell his family too. Then when we were at the beach and I was telling the story, and said how Kimo knew how and when to use the word. My FIL (Daddy's Papa) said the only right time to use the word is "hunny I need to go and take a WORD". Then he kept repeating it!! LOL!! It was too funny, but on the other hand Kimo was sitting in ear shot of it all. I truely feel this is were he even picked it up from, we all know it couldn't have been from me. ;)
Also he likes to tell me..... "Mom calm down, take it easy!!" It's too funny!! I guess I tell him this one too often.
The other morning when he was waking up he was like..... "All the kids are awake! The sun is up see!" I asked him who all the kids were and he said..... "Nani and me". Too cute!!!!

Nani on the other hand doesn't say too much. All we get out of her is Mama and Dada. I guess she just likes to point to everything and use her baby talk. I so remember Kimo at this age already talking up a storm. Oh well! I guess she's just the silent type. (YEAH RIGHT!!!!) I'm sure when she is ready she will just come out with a complete sentence. She does know how to say please in ASL and we were working on other things, but I don't know too much to teach her. When we tell her things are all gone, she puts her hands up in the air(by her sholders) and waves them and she seems like she is saying all gone.

Oh boy!!! LOL!!

Well I just looked and saw how long it has been since I have posted about anything. I guess I need to get on the ball and keep everyone updated. Well our computer was down for about a week and I had to use our landlords computer to do everything. It really sucked.
This past weekend we were up at my in-laws house sitting (taking care of all the animals). It was nice to be away from home, but boy do I feel like I need a real vacation. :) When we were there my PIL took Kimo out to get a happy meal from McDonalds(they have transformer toys right now, which Kimo won't stop talking about). Well I guess after they got the happy meal my FIL asked Kimo if he wanted to be a Transformer when he grows up..... well Kimo said... "apparently NOT" I want to be a Fireman and a Baseball player when I grow-up. It was too cute. I was laughing so hard at this when they told me. When I was tell Derek, Kimo broke our conversation and said he wanted to be a worker too!! LOL!!! He wants to go to work like daddy. It was so cute!!!
Nani has finally cut her 5th tooth. Surprisingly it isn't any of the tooth next to the ones she already has. To me it looks like one of her molars. It isn't much fun, because she has been REALLY grumpy!!! She is doing great and getting bigger every day. She was crawling around the house today. Oh yeah! I also taught her how to say please in Sign Language. It is so cute.... when she wants to nurse I say.... "what do you say?" and then she signs. My baby is growing up. She also makes sounds like a little piggy. We point to the pig pictures and she does her little sounds. Too cute!! Maybe I'll be able to video her doing it some day.
Derek and I are doing really well and we are going to be celebrating our 5 years marriage in Sept. I can't believe how fast time flies by. Derek is still working at HomeDepot and doing all the computer stuff and plumbing on the side. I am still at home with the kids and loving it. I do get to get away once a week and do some work for our landlords mom. It's really nice to have a break even though I am wokring. We get to have play dates with one of my freinds and it's nice to see our kids playing togehter. Well I guess that's about it for now. I will try to be better at this. :)

My Nani girl!!!

I can't believe that it has already been "ONE" year since our little angel came into our world. She has grown so much and in so many different was in just one years time. She is learnig to walk and gets into everything you don't want her to. She is a GREAT help at taking everything out for the dresser drawers, but NOT so much of a help putting everything away. She has learned to BLOW KISSES and loves to blow them to daddy when he is on his way out the door to work. It is so swwet to see her crawl to him when he comes home from work. I can't seem to get my haed around how much she has grown and how much she will continue to grow. It makes me sad to know that I will never have another baby after her. I need to get all this time that I can with her being so small. I want to her to walk, but then it just makes her growup that much more quickly. I miss my baby boy being this little. Nani makes me smile very day and for that I am thankfull!!!
